美國媒體報導，美國海軍陸戰隊一架直升機，昨天在尼泊爾執行援助行動時失蹤，機上八人生死未卜。

據指出，這架直升機失聯之前，一架印度直升機曾經收到它所發出的訊息，表示出現燃料問題。因此直升機可能並未墜毀。

美國太平洋司令部證實，海軍陸戰隊一架休伊直升機失蹤。美國國防部說，直升機上有六名海軍陸戰隊員和兩名尼泊爾士兵。

美國海軍方面指出，目前尚無跡象顯示飛機已經墜毀。美國媒體報導，直升機在尼泊爾當地時間晚上十時左右失去聯絡前，一架印度直升機收到它發出的訊息，表示出現燃料問題，但不清楚是沒有油了或是油缸堵塞。

報導說，這架失 艒直升機剛向澤里果德投下一批補給品，在飛往另一地點救災時失去蹤影。
